Result: Chase Side 1 - 0 Minchenden
Albeit a loss, we have now come a long way to reduce the number of goals conceded. This week was another good defensive performance with only afew shots on goal for Chase Side and only one unfortunate goal against us. We are definately as good as Chase Side when we are all playing well and I'm sure we can beat them in the cup, at home, next week. I know some players would like to try other positions at times but I have to play our strongest team line up against the likes of Chase Side and we can experiment, as we have before, with changes when we are well ahead or playing weaker teams.
Well done.

Result: Sun 11th Jan- Minchenden 7 - 2 W. Hill
Today was our first match back and we were ready for revenge as we were agaisnt one of our main rivals, and closely matched team. Visiting them a few weeks ago, had us a game that we lost 6-2, and we really had to win.
We started well with some good passes and hard tackles. We opened up the scoring with Sam H finshing off a goal mouth scramble.
We were optimistic, but soon enough they were level after a small error from our defense.
We kept our heads up and soon scored again with Dylan crossing it in for Terry to finsh, and then the whistle blew for a succesful half.
Half Time.
After 5 minutes they came back and levelled the scoreline once again, and they were getting their hopes up, but we soon shattered them with supersub Tim, nutmegging the keeper.
We were playing well and we got a sort of lucky penalty, which resulted with Sam R placing it in the bottom left corner, and then a minute later Sam H scored again, which truly washed away Winchmores chances in winning although, a few years earlier we had been 5-2 up and Winchmore pulled back the scoreline to 5-5 in the last ten minutes. That didn't seem like it was going to happen again as a shot from Tom R was saved, but Sam H finshed it off yet again, and so now he had his second hat-trick of the season, and making him the third top goalscorer in the whole of the under 12's premier division.
We were now hammering the pressure down on the opposition, as we were getting corners and making runs every second, but no goals, until the last 2 minutes, where a corner went to Terry's head, and to the box to create yet another goalmouth scramble, which Sam H got out to Dylan, who finshed it, and them.
Full time came upon us, and we had won a fully deserved match.
Man of the match was Tom R
