Result: Whitewebbs 4-2 Minchenden

It was our first game of March and we were expecting for an easy win, but we got everthing except that.
The match started with us on the ball, making slow progress up the field, and creating a chance, which was saved by their great keeper. Then we started going downhill, as the match continued. They were creating space for their striker to collect the ball, and have a shot, which was placed in the bottom corner, resulting in a goal. Then Minchenden had another chance, which Dylan put a few feet wide. From then we had many chances from Terry and Sam H but none finding the target. Unfortunately the opposition were doing just aswell, probably better as they got another. We reacted well and soon were gven a boost as Sam H slotted the ball past the keeper.
Half-Time and we were dishearted as we had expected to come out on top.

As we got back onto the pitch trouble started to brew as one of their players started to get dirty especially 'X' ( or 'eggs' as we would prefer to call him!). He was elbowing us when trying to mark behind him, and this was pulled off on Terry, Tom R AND Dylan. The game progressed, and as Whitewebbs were getting better, Eggs was starting to get rotten (do you get it?!) and Terry, Tom and Dyl started to give him some of his own medecine, which stopped his dirty play... for a minute or two.
Unfortunately, they got yet another goal, due to some defensive errors.
After this we soon scored - sort of... IT WAS CALLED OFFSIDE, WHICH IT WASN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time after time, again and again, more and more (you get the picture now do you?) they were making more on goal chances, and we were making more on goal mistakes until a late cracking goal from Sam R in the 23rd minute. This gave us a refreshing little lift (sort of like tic-tacs) but it was shattered into a million minty pieces as they scored a further goal to seal their victory...
